This Alarm Clock Will Wake You Up With A Fresh Cup Of Coffee

Published by:

U.K.-based industrial designer Josh Renouf has come up with what just might be the king of alarm clocks. His “Barisieur” alarm clock -turned-coffee-machine will automatically brew a cup of coffee right when you wake up, easing you through your morning with the smell of fresh coffee.

The coffee maker heats the water and brews the coffee all by itself – all you have to do is load it up the night before. Interestingly, Renouf points out that this preparation process may actually help users fall asleep at night; “It encourages a ritual before going to sleep, signalling to the body and mind that it is time to unwind and relax,” he writes on his website.

Woman Leaves City Life Behind To Photograph Australia’s Remotest Landscapes

Published by:

Imagine leaving it all behind – leaving your boring city job and failed relationship behind to escape into the wild Australian outback and embrace your dreams. That’s exactly what nature and landscape photographer Julie Fletcher did 12 years ago when she left Sydney to take absolutely stunning photos of the Australian outback.

Fletcher’s photography captures the majestic beauty of Australia’s remote Southern region in all of its glory. She captures everything from haunting barren desert landscapes to beautiful beaches, and all the wildlife in between. Some of her photographs have received international recognition from the National Geographic and other prestigious organizations.

There is nothing out there but at the same time there is so much if you just see and not just look,” she told Daily Mail. “This area has made me a better photographer by challenging me all the time. I am constantly looking for a different approach on the same subject.

Lamborghini Aventador

Intelligent interfaces and augmented reality UIs have been around for quite some time but they’ve never really hit the nail on the head in terms of execution and utility. Futuristic UI was very common back in the Flash days where we could see all sorts of animations and interactions despite the fact that we didn’t have any real tactical devices. Nowadays, it seems that more and more people are trying to explore this concept and hopefully this time they will get it right. With that in mind we feature a really cool project title LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR done by 2RISE® GmbH.

You don’t catch customers by a touchscreen, just because it is touchable. Therefore it requires a lot more and we always think about new possibilities of making an interactive presentation more attractive.

Lamborghini is a perfect example of going different ways, because they decided to build super sport cars that look like spaceships. We also search for ideas how we can show a product in an uncommon way and for that we build a dark apocalyptic environment around this aggressive looking car – perfectly fit to its hard style.

It was fun to redesigning our very first presentation and by adding more details and some new features such as “intelligent” interfaces that only pop up and show information when you are in the right angle. You don’t have to click or touch anything. We also programmed new shaders to improve our look i.e. DOF, bloom, lens flares, car paint and realtime shadows/ ambient occlusion.
