Jeep’s Clever Ad Campaign Works Just As Well Upside Down

Published by:

Leo Burnett, a prestigious international advertising agency, created a simple 3-image optical illusion advertisement campaign for Jeep in France that merited a gold award for press at Cannes Lions.

At first, the 3 images in this ad campaign might look like nothing special – just dark animal images on a burlap background. You have to flip them over, however, to truly appreciate the agency’s artwork. Each image can be viewed as a different animal depending on which direction you view it from, and these two coexist without interfering with each other.

The agency explains that the ad “invites the reader to return to the announcement to discover an animal at the other end of the world. A nice invitation to travel.

Puree Brand Study

In February of 2014 Marie & Claude LaPonte Launched Puree, an organic medicinal vegetable garden where consumers can have access to naturally farmed food located in there very neighborhoods.

Specific produce has been known to help with health problems such as joint and arthritic issues as well as a variety of cronic illnesses. Although Puree is known for its attention to growth and detail in supplying locals with fresh and specialized produce owners Marie & Claude wanted to steer away from looking like a typical health pharmacy and focus more on the product they produce.

It was important right from the start to showcase Puree as a specialty produce company that is quite different than your typical organic mom and pop store. In order to accomplish this it was important to create a timeless Identity that held up to Puree’s standards of simplicity and aesthetic value. Inviting people to make the most of the food they eat.

Puree Organics Launched in February 2014 in Montreal Quebec.

Apple to Shift Users to Photos App in OS X Yosemite, Cease Development of Aperture App

Published by:

Photos OS X

Apple is set to shift users to their new Photos app from their old Aperture app early next year. According to TechCrunch, development of Aperture will be ceased in favor of the new app after OS X Yosemite (see previous post) releases later this year, but Apple will provide compatibility updates to Aperture so that those interested can run it in OS X Yosemite.

“With the introduction of the new Photos app and iCloud Photo Library, enabling you to safely store all of your photos in iCloud and access them from anywhere, there will be no new development of Aperture,” an Apple spokesperson told TechCrunch. “When Photos for OS X ships next year, users will be able to migrate their existing Aperture libraries to Photos for OS X.”
